English Songs and Games To Learn the Numbers

Hi there!, it's been ages since my last post and It can't be possible! ;-), so today I've decided to share some interesting and fun songs as well as games to be done with our kids.
It's important that the concepts and vocabulary we're studying in the class, would be reinforced at home too. Would you like to watch these videos with your children?


As you can see, there are many ways to motivate our students and kids to learn a different language, and I believe music and games are a great resource to do so.

Hello dear friends!
My students love this song! In fact I may say this one creates special emotional feelings in my English lessons.
It's great doing this task with them and see how well they behave in the activity. Sometimes teachers get magic with the tasks done in a class, don't you agree?

It has been a day to be remembered in my life!;-D so thank you so much to all my students for following my lessons with beautiful smiles and good disposal.

Here it is!! Saint Patrick's Day 2015!!! Art and Crafts ideas :-D

Hello everybody! Today I'm in a very happy mood, because one of my favourite festivals is coming up!!
Next tuesday, the seventeeth, Saint Patrick's Day is going to be celebrated everywhere, specially in Ireland! .

5 "Back to School" Kindergarten Stories.

"Mummy, Mummy, I'd like to hear a new story,pleaseeee... "How many times have you heard this on a child's voice? Although you're a mum/dad or not, I know you've lived this situation at least once :D.

Children and young learners need stories to feel confident, to grow up and to feel how creative life could be. So... I've been thinking about the different stories my parents told me when I was a very young girl, and I can say that I still remember some of them...

Today I'm not going to tell you these stories, but I'll share 5 different videos with beautiful and great stories you can use in your English class during the first weeks of school.

Is it a smile in your face? Good!!! :D I'm sure you also remember some of these nice momentos when we were in the kindergarten or in the first years of school, don't you?

Our students are looking for a teacher who motivates them in the English learning process and this can surely start throughout a story.

Have you ever felt like a child? I have! and today is a good starting point to repeat this feeling.

Comin' down the tree: A cowboy style Christmas song :)

Hello! I'm sure you're thinking about Christmas at school and that you are ready to sing with your students a great and modern Christmas song.
I've found this one.
I think it would work with children from the second cycle of Primary Education.
You can prepare a choreography and ask them to sing and dance this modern Christmas song :).
It includes the lyrics so you all can sing it in the class :D

I can sing a rainbow...

Dear friends!! Once I saw a beautiful poster in my class with this nice song I couldn't resist myself to sing it with the kids. Also, this is one of my favorite songs so you can imagine how motivated I'm feeling with the song :D.

Studying the Present Continuous Tense

Hello!!! Some of our students have difficulties when studying the English grammar. Tenses are confused! At that point we need to give them reinforcement and teach the tenses in many different ways.

I think this video will help our students to understand the use of the Present Continuous Tense.
Use it in your lessons and you will see!!!

Today is a perfect day to wear my favourite green T-shirt :P It's Saint Patrick's Day so What are you waiting for? Let's go outside and celebrate it :)

It's Pankace Day! :D

I'm happy today, hahaha, it's Pancake day! that means you and me can cook a delicious pancake  and then eat it!! :D

I have found some great suggestions  from Usborne.com. It's a nice PDF that explains how to do a pancake, and of course you can download it . Let's see it!!

Moreover, there's a funny video. It's something different as you will cook and eat turtle pancakes!

THANKSGIVING DAY!! Part 1.

Hello!! Next Thursday we will celebrate Thanksgiving Day. It's a great moment to teach our students this American tradition, don't you think?

If you don't really know what thanksgiving day is, you can read my last post on La clase de Daniela Online. There's an spanish explanation on it :P.

Moreover, I'd like you watch this video. It's the best one to make our students understand the meaning of Thanksgiving day.

I'm still writing chants, songs and thinking about games to make my students have fun on Halloween.

Ten little Indians!!!

There are lots of songs about the numbers. In fact, I've published some of them last weeks, but I also want to share with you this one.

I still remember my childhood! It was so nice to sing and dance the ten little indians...So...I don't want to waste more time!! I believe my children will love it too.

Children will play all day, because the first step is to build the game.

Songs to have fun with children!!

Row, row, row your boat...


When I was a child, I used to sing and listen this beautiful song with my daddy. It's great to listen and sing it again and again 30 years later, hehehe.
I love teaching this song to my students, specially when they're in the infant education.

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day 2012!!

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY FROM DANIELA'S CLASS :D

Hellooooo!! How are you all? I'm in a mood of celebrating, and as it's coming St. Patrick's Day, I wanna show you some great ideas to be used in our English lessons.


Firstly, I want to show you a great song that you can sing and dance with your students. It would be nice if all of you wear green clothes.






 Secondly, I have found this nice video showing two girls singing a great song: The shamrock song. It'd great to do something similar with the younger students, don't you think so?





 Finally, for the older ones, third cycle, I suggest this video, that explains what a LIMERICK is. It's nice and you can ask your students to create new limericks in the class.

Valentine's Day Activities

Love is the best feeling, the best one in the world :) 

Hello sweeties!!
Tomorrow it's celebrated Saint Valentine's Day!! Some people are waiting for this day all year all, but I know some others don't like it at all :P


In my opinion, it is just a simple day that let us remember how important is LOVE in our lives.
This is one of the reasons why I always celebrate this day.


I love my parents, my friends, my students, my husband... I LOVE MY LIFE !!!
