Hi there!, it's been ages since my last post and It can't be possible! ;-), so today I've decided to share some interesting and fun songs as well as games to be done with our kids.
It's important that the concepts and vocabulary we're studying in the class, would be reinforced at home too. Would you like to watch these videos with your children?

As you can see, there are many ways to motivate our students and kids to learn a different language, and I believe music and games are a great resource to do so.
Let's enjoy English then!!!
See you in a next post and subscribe to my websites, please, :-D.
Hugs and Kisses,
Teacher Daniela A. Ayala Molinari.

Learning the ABC and colours!

Learning the alphabet and the colours are the basic things our students should know in the first term of 1st grade Primary Education.

Today, I'd like you test this on called: Color by Letter.
A woman says the instructions. In the right column there're two letters and in the left side you can read and choose the different colours.

Once you've finished the exercise, the word is spelled.

I think this interactive activity is good for 5-6 year old students.
I hope you all love it!!
Do not forget to show this activity in the whiteboard.
Coloring the star there will be totally different!!

Have an excellent week!!

Love,
Daniela A. Ayala M.
PS: Happy teacher's Day to all of you!!! ;)

How to play games using the Whiteboard: My favourite game, The Hangman.

Have you ever played this game? I'm sure you have played it at least once in your life!
We sometimes play Hangman with kids when teaching the alphabet, but it is also an interesting game for other types of activities.
Can you guess how?

The Hangman is an incredible time-saver in your lessons. Do not prepare worksheets for that day, and  use the last 15 minutes to play with them.
Have you got a projector and a whiteboard in the class? Great! Ask your students to be the teachers during the game. They will love using the whiteboard as well as solving the exercises.

Playing games creates a better atmosphere in the class and you can apply this game to any student. You just have to  choose the topic and start guessing the different letters that form missing word.

So... Ready, Steady, Go!!

Let's play together !

Click here and you will access to the game.

Enjoy it!!

Kisses and hugs,
Teacher,
Daniela A. Ayala Molinari.

I can sing a rainbow...

Dear friends!! Once I saw a beautiful poster in my class with this nice song I couldn't resist myself to sing it with the kids. Also, this is one of my favorite songs so you can imagine how motivated I'm feeling with the song :D.

The lyrics is this one, but it is also added in the video taken from youtube:

Red and Yellow and Pink and Green
Purple and Orange and Blue,
I can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow too.

Listen with  your eyes,
listen with your eyes,
and sing everything you see.

You can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow too.

Red and Yellow and Pink and Green
Purple and Orange and Blue,
Now we can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow too.

I'd like you all sing and listen with your eyes everything you see, as the colors of the rainbow ;).
A very big hug from me,

Daniela A. Ayala Molinari.

I think this video will help our students to understand the use of the Present Continuous Tense.
Use it in your lessons and you will see!!!

Fun with Phonics for children!

I love this methodology because I think children learn more saying and listening new words :). If they practice and practice at the end they will understand the use of English and its correct pronunciation.

Let's see it and use it in our lessons! I'll do it, and you?
Have a wonderful week!

Hokey Pokey Song and Dance :)

I think this is the most famous dance for English teachers :) I've been dancing and singing this song since I was a child...
Many times my students ask me to dance and sing it at the end of the lessons so today I want to show you a good example of how to dance it with our students in the English Class.
I love it!!
What about you?

Have a nice week!!,

Telling the time, Let's learn and play :D!!

Telling the time is something our students must know and use in their life.
It's essential for us, teachers of English, to teach the time in an appropriate way, so they can manage themselves to tell the time from now on...

Some years ago, I shared some interesting links to make this possible.
Please, have a look at this LINK.

Although it's important to write some basic rules on the board and make our students copy a short guide and picture on their notebook, I suggest some other interesting activities to use in your English class.

The IDB (Interactive digital board) makes the work easier. Wait and see... :P

This LINK  (Time monsters) suggests different games. Step by step, our students will learn how to tell the time.

British Council website provides the knowledge through some interesting exercises. Click on the LINK

I'm sure all these interactive and digital ideas, will help you a lot.
My students love these activities and they really work :D.

Enjoy the week ;)
Love,
Daniela A. Ayala Molinari.

Big and Small: Los dibujos de moda para los peques de la casa

Big and Small

Daniela A. Ayala Molinari.
