FERIA EDUCATIVA BRITÁNICA: 23 y 24 de OCTUBRE 2013.

VEN A LA FERIA DE EDUCACIÓN BRITÁNICA:  MADRID Y BARCELONA

Estimados amigos:

Estamos de enhorabuena pues durante este mes están teniendo lugar varias ferias importantes con un referente común: LA EDUCACIÓN.

Esta semana ha tenido lugar SIMO y hasta hoy sigue la feria CIEB.

Pero hoy os escrito para invitaros a la Feria Educativa Británica. Esta es la mayor feria europea de educación británica. Es organizada por el British Council y tendrá lugar durante los días 23-24 de Octubre en MADRID, en el Hotel Eurobuilding y el 25 de octubre en Barcelona, en el Hotel Constanza

Universidades, colegios, institutos, escuelas de idiomas y muchísimas sesiones de información convierten esta Feria en el referente que necesitará cualquier persona (ya sea profesional, padre o alumno) interesada en estudiar en el Reino Unido.  Como profesores de inglés, es posible que nuestros alumnos nos pregunten sobre educación en el Reino Unido. Así que esta sería la ocasión ideal para que nos informáramos.

  Todos los asistentes recibirán una publicación con los datos más relevantes sobre la educación en el Reino Unido.

El encuentro incluye más de 15 sesiones para profesionales y padres.  Por ejemplo:

·         Kings’ College, Imperial y University College London ofrecen una sesión sobre empleo en programas de Post-Grado.  

·         Gillian Flaxman, Directora del British Council School, explicará el National Curriculum,

·         Carolina Jiménez, Directora de Educación del British Council, explicará el sistema educativo británico, convalidación, programas de estudios e información práctica para hacer una solicitud, pedir un préstamo o beca, etc.  en diferentes sesiones

Hi!! Summer is finished now,  and October has started with a lot of energy :D.
Today I'd like to share my last article. It's written in English and the topic is BACK TO SCHOOL.

Hello there! This is the first time I use infogr.am, a nice way of showing text, pictures and videos.
I have to thank En La Nube Tic, an incredible website with lots of good resources for teachers, because people who work on this project are always helping us to improve our daily lessons and they also give us some clues to use the ICT's in education.

It's in the bag!!: Vanessa Reilly

Vanessa Reilly and me, last 8th of May  in Toledo, Spain.

Last month I had the opportunity to see again Vanessa Reilly. She  showed us some "secrets" to use English in a funnier way with our students.

It's incredible how a simple tetra brik top can help us to make a class register.

But, what I like most, were the head bands. With different felts, she made head bands for each of the characters of the English book (Splash).

Torches are also great for English teachers, because we can use them to point to the flashcards. Children will love using torches on the different games.

CELEBRATING THIS BLOG'S 4TH ANNIVERSARY!!;)

Last Monday, the 7th of May, we celebrated our 4th Birthday party ;).

It's nice to see how this blog is growing, and how children and other teachers and parents as well, follow our publications and ideas...

I feel very happy with this proyect, because it let me feel better and I can share my ideas,the  resources I find on the internet or libraries and  all those feelings that surround me, with you all... :D

KIDS FUN IDEAS!!

¡Hola! Estamos a mitad de semana y ya hay que ir pensando en un fantástico PLAN para realizar este FIN DE SEMANA en familia.
Lo que os cuento es interesante, situado en IFEMA MADRID, y es un plan interesantísimo para este SÁBADO 8 DE OCTUBRE en horario de 11 a 20.30 horas.

 

Pues bien, nuestros amigos de La tienda del Profesor, nos sugieren la asistencia a LA FERIA KIDS FUN IDEAS, que os ofrecerá diversas ideas y talleres de idiomas, cocina, teatro, música, manualidades, y ofertas didácticas para llevar a cabo con los hijos o alumnos.
Son varias propuestas didácticas y de ocio que se ofertan sobre el aprendizaje del bilinguismo.


Desde Daniela's Class, recomiendo la visita al STAND de La Tienda del Profesor, para que veáis los diversos materiales de los que disponen.

Mis queridos amigos:
Ya llevamos 3 días de cole por estas tierras con nuestros alumnos. Período de adaptación para todos, el cuál marcha realmente bien.

Back to School: Materials and ideas for the first days at school

In this article I present you some good materials we, as teachers of English, can use in our first days at school.
During the first month of school, we're ready to list the main things we need , and I want to help you in this task.
Don't you know what materials are the best? I'll show you some good ones that I'm sure you'll love too.


First of all, let me show you this great book: Schooltime borders. Thanks to this book, you can create your own posters and nice messages to give the best welcome to our students, as well as creating behaviour lists, birthday lists, and so on... There's also available a CD inside the book (mac and microsoft) .
