Hello!! With just a simple dialogue, children are able to create different and funny situations.

Everything depends on their imagination as well as the environment they would like to create.

It's in the bag!!: Vanessa Reilly

Vanessa Reilly and me, last 8th of May  in Toledo, Spain.

Last month I had the opportunity to see again Vanessa Reilly. She  showed us some "secrets" to use English in a funnier way with our students.

It's incredible how a simple tetra brik top can help us to make a class register.

But, what I like most, were the head bands. With different felts, she made head bands for each of the characters of the English book (Splash).

Torches are also great for English teachers, because we can use them to point to the flashcards. Children will love using torches on the different games.

CELEBRATING THIS BLOG'S 4TH ANNIVERSARY!!;)

Last Monday, the 7th of May, we celebrated our 4th Birthday party ;).

It's nice to see how this blog is growing, and how children and other teachers and parents as well, follow our publications and ideas...

I feel very happy with this proyect, because it let me feel better and I can share my ideas,the  resources I find on the internet or libraries and  all those feelings that surround me, with you all... :D

Reading Time: Graciela Castellano's books found at La Tienda del Profesor

Suggestions to be used with our students 

Dear friends,
Reading is one of the basic skills our children must acquire in the second language.
We as teachers should provide them good materials to make the reading interesting and funny.


Last week I visited "La Tienda del Profesor" and I found these two books, wich are perfect for some of my students.


My friends and Look at me are bilingual books, so they can be read in both languages.
The pictures are clear, beautiful and funny, so my students really love them.


Graciela Castellanos de López is the author of these two books.

Hanane y Shaima, felices con el libro que vamos a leer juntas.

Recomiendo ambos libros para leer en clase con los niños y así transmitirles el valor de la lectura, también en Inglés. Pueden leerlo en Español también para tener una base del contexto a leer.

En estos días de vacaciones de Semana Santa, nada mejor como un divertido juego para entretener en casa a los niños y enseñárles lo divertido que puede llegar a ser el Inglés :D.

Fisher Price nos propone este estupendo juego de los opuestos, para reforzar vocabulario en el área de Inglés.

Os lo recomiendo y sugiero que además miréis muchos otros juegos que aparecen allí.
