Unit 7.- FORCES

Hello everybody! Today the sun is shining and my life is shining too!! :D.
We are starting a new unit called FORCES.
The first steps we are doing are these ones :

Both pictures have been done using new technologies, aren't they cool? ;-)

I'm so proud of these students, they're learning in a quickly way ;-)

Let's speak in English! Countries and Nationalities

Dear friends,
You know how important it is to make our students SPEAK in ENGLISH.
Speaking opens the door to an active communication, and I think this is the main role of our subject.

Our Christmas photographs!! Fotitos de Navidad 2011

¡Hola! ¿cómo estáis? tras haber pasado algunos problemas técnicos con picture trail, por fín puedo mostraros las fotos de Navidad.

Lo pasamos fenomenal en Diciembre con la visita de los Reyes Magos, cantamos Villancicos, hicimos manualidades, y visitamos el edificio de Infantil cantando Christmas carols a los más peques del colegio.

Además, mis alumnos de 5º se fueron contentos de vacaciones con sus portátiles.

Our Science Project!! Matter and changes of state

Dear friends,
During these last weeks, we were working on the didactic unit MATTER.


One of the main items was MATTER AND CHANGES OF STATE.


My students know that there are three states in matter: Solid, liquid and gas.


Taking into account this and the different names of changes of state ( melting, solidification, boiling, evaporation, condensation, sublimation),They had to make a cake and explain what the changes are when we cook it.


It's an observation project but it's also a reinforcement of the knowledge they've acquired in the last days.


I have to say THANK YOU to their parents, because I know they helped them a lot with this.


Some students didn't make a cake, but they investigate the task on the internet.

Somos candidatos en el V Premio Espiral Edublogs 2011

Queridos amigos:
Voy a pensar que tengo poderes mentales o algo parecido, pues llevaba estas últimas semanas pensando en estos premios, je, je, je.

Estas convocatorias y premios son para todos los profesionales docentes, intereseados en las nuevas tecnologías y creadores de blogs educativos, una puerta que se abre más allá de donde ya está.


No importa ganar o perder, lo importante es participar y enseñar al mundo el trabajo que uno realiza, esperando una aceptación positiva por parte de los demás.


El jurado decidirá quienes son los ganadores en cada categoría, el próximo 15 de Mayo.
