Our St. Patrick's Day at school!!!

I love St. Patrick's Day and my students love it too!!!

Last 15th of March, we celebrated St. Patrick's Day at school. I told my students the story of St. Patrick and also we did a role play.
We also colour some pictures and play great games.
We all had fun!!

Someone like you...

Nowadays I love Adele, a great singer from Britain. She is a great and young singer and she sings one of my favourite songs which is "Someone like you".


My students also love her songs! This is the reason why I have chosen this song.


I suggest you to listen and watch the videos. You can also use the workheet. Doing so, your students can complete the song too.

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day 2012!!

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY FROM DANIELA'S CLASS :D

Hellooooo!! How are you all? I'm in a mood of celebrating, and as it's coming St. Patrick's Day, I wanna show you some great ideas to be used in our English lessons.


Firstly, I want to show you a great song that you can sing and dance with your students. It would be nice if all of you wear green clothes.






 Secondly, I have found this nice video showing two girls singing a great song: The shamrock song. It'd great to do something similar with the younger students, don't you think so?





 Finally, for the older ones, third cycle, I suggest this video, that explains what a LIMERICK is. It's nice and you can ask your students to create new limericks in the class.

Let's practice English!: Giving Directions

Hi, Hello!!! How are you today?

During the last weeks we're studying a new vocabulary and my children are learning how to give directions.

For that reason, we have made a big wallchart with different instructions and messages.

Wallcharts help our students to feel more motivated and also help us to improve our lessons.

Everything you bring to the class will be welcome if you do it with love and optimism.

This was Valentine's Day at school!

Hello everybody!! Last week we celebrated Valentine's Day at school. This is a beautiful day because we highlight friendship and love.
My students really enjoyed the day. We sang the song "Love is in the air", we created a dance for the song and also we made a lovely valentine's day card.
