THANKSGIVING DAY!! Part 1.

Hello!! Next Thursday we will celebrate Thanksgiving Day. It's a great moment to teach our students this American tradition, don't you think?
If you don't really know what thanksgiving day is, you can read my last post on La clase de Daniela Online. There's an spanish explanation on it :P.
Moreover, I'd like you watch this video. It's the best one to make our students understand the meaning of Thanksgiving day.

I also found another video, which is special for the very young learners.

Please, if you like this article, share it with your friends.
The more you read, the more I post :P
Thanks a lot!!

Telling the time, Let's learn and play :D!!

Telling the time is something our students must know and use in their life.
It's essential for us, teachers of English, to teach the time in an appropriate way, so they can manage themselves to tell the time from now on...

Some years ago, I shared some interesting links to make this possible.
Please, have a look at this LINK.

Although it's important to write some basic rules on the board and make our students copy a short guide and picture on their notebook, I suggest some other interesting activities to use in your English class.

The IDB (Interactive digital board) makes the work easier. Wait and see... :P

This LINK  (Time monsters) suggests different games. Step by step, our students will learn how to tell the time.

British Council website provides the knowledge through some interesting exercises. Click on the LINK

I'm sure all these interactive and digital ideas, will help you a lot.
My students love these activities and they really work :D.

Enjoy the week ;)
Love,
Daniela A. Ayala Molinari.
